A home base for your bourbon journey
Extended Stave sits in the foothills of Lawrenceburg, on the grounds of the old McCall’s Spring. We built our warehouses in 2023 with open air ventilation, so your barrels age through real Kentucky seasons the way bourbon is meant to.
Whether you are just starting a barrel portfolio or already run a full brand, our team walks with you through sourcing, storing and bottling. No minimums, no guesswork, just a clear path forward.

Meet the team
The people behind Extended Stave
Jason J. Taylor
Partner
Jason’s day job is running a commercial real estate firm in Lexington, KY. He actively manages over 2 million sq. ft. of retail, office and industrial property and has over 15 years of experience in the industry. So why bourbon – Extended Stave Warehousing is a real estate venture, wrapped in Kentucky’s coolest industry. Learning about the need for barrel warehousing as the industry experiences explosive growth, it was a natural fit to create Extended Stave. As barrel owners and now warehousers, we are excited to be a small part of this KY tradition and help age Kentucky’s prized nectar.
Growing up in Frankfort, home to some of the most renowned bourbon companies in the world, Jason was always exposed to the sweet smells of cooking mash. Whether fishing under the dam on the Elkhorn Creek across from the Jim Beam plant or listening to his grandfather’s stories about his work as an agent for the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, chasing bootleggers and warehouse robbers in the 50’s and 60’s, bourbon was part of his childhood. He’s excited to now make it part of his future.
Prior to his current employment in commercial real estate, Jason spent four years in public and governmental accounting with a local CPA firm. Jason graduated Franklin County High School, obtained a bachelor’s degree from Transylvania University in Accounting and a master’s degree in Public Administration from Morehead State University.
Lev Orlov
Partner
Lev serves as Chief Operating Officer at Equity Management Group, where he helps oversee the company’s day-to-day operations, including office management, acquisitions, dispositions, and financing. With over 16 years of experience in commercial real estate, he has been directly involved in more than $750 million in acquisitions throughout his career.
Prior Equity Lev founded Riverside Realty Capital, a Cincinnati based commercial real estate investment firm. Riverside has acquired over $450 MM of commercial real estate across the country in various asset classes which included industrial, flex, multi-family and fuel centers. Prior to Riverside, Lev spent 10 years overseeing acquisitions for Viking Partners, a Cincinnati based private equity firm that specializes in commercial real estate investments.
Lev grew up in Lexington, Kentucky, home of the world-renowned bourbon industry, and graduated from Henry Clay High School and magna cum laude from the University of Kentucky. He teamed up with fellow Kentuckians Jason and Raj to develop local investments, which ultimately led to the creation of AATW and owns Extended Stave. Their partnership was formed on trust, diverse business backgrounds, and their love of the Bluegrass which fostered unique investment opportunities. He is excited to bring his expertise, passion, and strong work ethic to the table for the continued growth of this operation.
