Lev grew up in Lexington, Kentucky, home of the world-renowned bourbon industry, and graduated from Henry Clay High School and magna cum laude from the University of Kentucky. He teamed up with fellow Kentuckians Jason and Raj to develop local investments, which ultimately led to the creation of AATW and owns Extended Stave. Their partnership was formed on trust, diverse business backgrounds, and their love of the Bluegrass which fostered unique investment opportunities. He is excited to bring his expertise, passion, and strong work ethic to the table for the continued growth of this operation.Jason J. Taylor
Jason’s day job is running a commercial real estate firm in Lexington, KY. He actively manages over 2 million sq. ft. of retail, office and industrial property and has over 15 years of experience in the industry. So why bourbon – Extended Stave Warehousing is a real estate venture, wrapped in Kentucky’s coolest industry. Learning about the need for barrel warehousing as the industry experiences explosive growth, it was a natural fit to create Extended Stave. As barrel owners and now warehousers, we are excited to be a small part of this KY tradition and help age Kentucky’s prized nectar.
Growing up in Frankfort, home to some of the most renowned bourbon companies in the world, Jason was always exposed to the sweet smells of cooking mash. Whether fishing under the dam on the Elkhorn Creek across from the Jim Beam plant or listening to his grandfather’s stories about his work as an agent for the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, chasing bootleggers and warehouse robbers in the 50’s and 60’s, bourbon was part of his childhood. He’s excited to now make it part of his future.
Prior to his current employment in commercial real estate, Jason spent four years in public and governmental accounting with a local CPA firm. Jason graduated Franklin County High School, obtained a bachelor’s degree from Transylvania University in Accounting and a master’s degree in Public Administration from Morehead State University.Carrie Trapp

Her husband’s great, great grandfather, Daniel Swigert, who was known for his legacy in thoroughbreds, is a key inspiration for her career. Back in 1857, Granddad Daniel built out at “Stoney Point” on the Kentucky River in Frankfort, a modest distillery facility with an excellent wharf, large 3-story stone warehouse, a still house… and machinery of the best and most-approved patterns for making copper distilled Whiskey.” Also known as…. Buffalo Trace.
The family traded launching a ‘first rate distillery’ business to pursue other interests in thoroughbreds – resulting in two major breeding operations at two major farms with a burgeoning reputation as being the best over the last 164+ years… Hindoo, Baden-Baden, Apollo, Ben Ali, Nashua, & Majestic Prince. Carrie claims the “bourbon gene” and loves sharing all things Kentucky with clients from around the world.
